A while back I had the privilege of working with Kelly at Play on a pretty fun project. It’s a 90+ workbook that accompanied a presentation that Play gave to GE, titled “Think differently. Behave differently. Lead differently.”

As stoked as I am with the way our book came out, I’m just as proud of how quickly we got it all done. The time from my first meeting with Play to delivery of the printed books was less than 2 weeks.

Play is an awesome company with some of the coolest folks. They treated me like I’d been working there for years and I can’t thank them enough. Also, I want give props to Easley Johnson and James River Press for being super accommodating and delivering a great print job.

I recently wrapped up a project with the good dudes at PharrOut to redesign the web site of local politician Chris Peace.

It was probably one of the easiest and smoothest site designs I’ve done, and everybody seems stoked with the way it turned out, including me.

The guys at PharrOut unveiled the new RVANews this past Monday. I had the opportunity to work with them on the redesign and I think it turned out pretty nice, if I do say so myself. A while back, I worked on the web site design for Eck Enterprises with PharrOut and this is where we ended up. I’ll post again when things go live, but for now, here’s the a sneak peak of their future site.

Recently I worked on a website design for Triad Systems with PharrOut. While thinking about the site, we entertained the idea of reworking their logo. We knew they liked their current logo, so we just wanted to rework the existing shape and idea. Here’s what we came up with:

I never posted about this, but a while back JHI and I wrapped up the RVA Construction website. This site, along with some new ads, continue to build on the brand identity that was created while I was at JHI.
