I’m from the small town of Lawrenceville, VA, where my mother taught me how to be a gentleman and my father taught me how to cook a crazy good Brunswick Stew. A life-long creative at heart, I’ve always enjoyed art classes exponentially more than, well, every other subject.
Somewhere in-between the time spent doodling and playing sports, I was fortunate enough to meet a new friend named Amanda during my senior year in high school. A friendship blossomed into something more and before I knew it, we were a couple of high school grads off to start our college careers together at James Madison University.
Then the course of my life changed when I found Graphic Design during my sophomore year at JMU. In 2003, I graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design to my name and an energetic, optimistic spirit. Amanda and I were married a week later in South Hill, VA and began our life together.
In the few years that followed, I was fortunate enough to be a part of a design studio in Richmond, VA where I worked on a wide range of projects for a diverse group of clients, while learning valuable lessons about our creative industry ranging from client relations and project management to print production and workflow efficiency.
In September of 2008 Amanda and I moved to Richmond so that I could be closer to my current clients and hopefully drum up more business from a vibrant, creative city. I’ve been blessed so far to work with some really great folks on some really interesting projects. I’m confident that the future holds even more opportunities to make great design.
In the meantime, Amanda and I will fill our days by lounging with our dog & cat, watching movies, traveling around this amazing planet, and exploring our new stomping grounds.
